AQUARIUS have been manufacturing top quality inflatable boats for leisure and racing in South Africa since 1989. They are committed to continous product improvement in quality and design. The AQUA-CAT is capable of reaching speeds in excess of 85 km/h with a standard 50 Hp Tohatsu and a 15" Quicksilver Bunny Ear Prop. Using a blueprint 50 Hp Tohatsu the boat is capable of speeds up to 95 km/h using a Quicksilver Bunny Prop. Speeds of over 105 km/h have been reached using a 20" Quicksilver high rake cleaver. By lengthening the boat to 4.15 m it is capable of using a 55 Hp Mercury or Yamaha 70 C and speeds of over 115 km/h have been reached.

Aquarius Inflatables won the most coveted 'World Championship' title; p750 blueprint!  This is a great achievement and follows on from great success , having 30 boats in the top 40 of the last South African nationals.

"News from South Africa: The World Championship was a tremendous success, fantastic racing and all three disciplines raced – Well done Greg and his team! The title for the P750 Blue Print class was the main championship being contended for as there was an International fleet (establishing a true world championship) with 2 Swedish, 1 New Zealand and the other teams being from South Africa. Unfortunately for the P750 Modified and Standard class there were only South African entries and no other nations which is a shame as its not really a world status with entries only from one country, but never the less the racing was competitive and challenging; hopefully the credit-crunch might be over by the time the next world’s takes place and other teams from around the globe including the UK will be able to enter.
